Our Commitment to the Environment & Why We Use New Wood ... At Boxed Heart Flooring, we believe that it is good to use the resources that God has given us, through harvesting and replanting. In nature, when old growth trees die, new trees will take their place and existing trees are given the opportunity to reach their full maturity.  This is nature’s way, and good forest management mimics nature.  When trees reach maturity, they are harvested and replanted, allowing the cycle to begin again.  Be assured that none of our wood is harvested from clear cut forests.
